A 25-passenger party bus for a bachelorette crawl through downtown Grand Rapids. A 40–56 passenger charter bus for a company outing or team travel. Whatever size and style your trip calls for, you compare options and pricing in one place instead of piecing it together from a dozen different sources.

Kentwood Bus Amenities Built Around Your Trip
Party buses in the 15–50 passenger range typically come with wraparound perimeter seating, a full-length bar, color-changing LED lighting, a built-in sound system with Bluetooth, and flat-panel TVs — everything you need to keep the energy going from the first pickup to the last stop. Sprinter limos and executive vans tend to offer leather seating, tinted windows, individual reading lights, and USB charging at every seat. Full-size charter buses generally include reclining seats, overhead storage, climate control, WiFi, power outlets, and undercarriage luggage bays — the right setup for long hauls or groups bringing equipment and gear.

More Choices, Better Prices on Kentwood Party Buses
The biggest advantage is what you don't have to do. You don't have to hunt down five bus companies, describe your trip five times, and try to compare quotes that use completely different pricing structures. Lansingpartybuscompany.com pulls the comparison together in one place so you can see your options, weigh pricing, and move forward with confidence instead of starting over every time someone doesn't call back.
For Kentwood groups specifically, coverage reaches Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Cascade Township, and the broader Kent County area — so availability is strong even during high-demand weekends. M-6 and US-131 are the main corridors connecting Kentwood to the venues and event spaces your group is most likely targeting, and the bus operators serving the area know those routes and event-day approaches.
You get quotes in under 30 seconds, custom packages for one-ways, round-trips, and multi-day itineraries, and help by phone at 517-481-6450 to put a package together that fits your headcount and budget. Lansingpartybuscompany.com makes it easy to compare every option in one place so you can check transportation off the list and get back to planning the actual event.
Group & Event Transportation Services in Kentwood
From airport shuttles and wedding transportation to bachelorette party buses, prom rentals, sporting event shuttles, concert transportation, corporate event shuttles, and school field trips — whatever's pulling your group together in Kentwood, there's a bus ready for it. Call 517-481-6450 to get moving.

Kentwood Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Gerald R. Ford International Airport sits at 5500 44th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 — squarely within Kentwood city limits, which means your group is already closer to the terminal than most West Michigan travelers assume. Getting there isn't the problem. The problem is airport parking: short-term garage rates climb fast for multi-day trips, and a group of 12 traveling for a long weekend can easily spend more on the parking ramp than they spent on checked bags.
One bus drops everyone at the departures curb on the way out and picks everyone up on the lower arrivals level on the way back — no parking math, no shuttle from the far lot.
Commercial vehicles pick up on the lower level (Arrivals) curbside at GRR. Have your whole group assembled at the agreed pickup point with luggage before reaching out to the operator to pull forward — the lower level moves quickly and there's no room to sit and wait. For current pickup lane assignments and ground transportation details, check the official GRR website before your travel date.
Call 517-481-6450 to get your Kentwood airport shuttle lined up.

Kentwood Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Downtown Grand Rapids runs until 2am on weekends, and the bar and restaurant stretch along Fulton Street and Division Avenue is easily three or four stops deep for any group with a proper itinerary. The problem is the post-midnight return to Kentwood — rideshare surge pricing from downtown GR eats into everyone's budget, and getting 20 people into enough cars at the same time is its own coordination headache.
A Kentwood bachelorette party bus in the 20–35 passenger range puts the whole crew in one vehicle with a built-in bar, LED lighting, and a sound system that makes the ride itself part of the night. Start at Founders Brewing Co. (235 Grandville Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503), work your way toward the Division Avenue corridor, and the bus handles every transition so nobody has to figure out parking at each individual stop. The group stays together from the first toast to the last drop-off back in Kentwood.

Kentwood Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus pickup is one of the most memorable parts of any Sweet 16 or quinceañera celebration — and the West Michigan market has plenty of bus options to match the occasion. Birthday and quinceañera party buses seating 15–50 are available, with options to request specific exterior colors to match your event theme. Whether the evening is heading to a reception hall in Kentwood, a hotel ballroom in downtown Grand Rapids, or a dinner reservation along the 28th Street corridor, the bus makes the entrance as memorable as the destination itself.
For adult milestone birthdays — 30s, 40s, 50s — the same setup works well for a night at the restaurants and bars in Grand Rapids' Eastown neighborhood along Wealthy Street SE, or a late dinner and drinks downtown. Use the online quote tool to check what's available on your date, or call 517-481-6450 to talk through the options for your group size.

Kentwood Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The drive from Kentwood to Van Andel Arena (130 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) is about 10 miles up US-131 north — manageable on a regular Tuesday, a different story when 12,000 people are all trying to find the same downtown parking structure after a sold-out show. The Monroe Avenue corridor fills fast on event nights, and the post-show exit drags regardless of which lot you're in.
A Kentwood concert bus rental changes the calculation entirely. Your group rides up together, the bus stages while you're inside, and everyone loads back up after the final song instead of hunting for the car in a four-story garage. The pregame energy stays in the group instead of evaporating across five separate vehicles.
Van Andel Arena also hosts the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL) hockey season and the Grand Rapids Gold (NBA G League), so the event calendar runs deep through fall, winter, and spring. For any show that draws a full house — especially summer touring season — book well ahead. Call 517-481-6450 to check availability on your date.

Kentwood Corporate Event Transportation
Shuttling a team between Kentwood's East Paris Avenue business corridor and downtown Grand Rapids is a reasonable commute on a regular Tuesday morning and a genuinely complicated one on the day your whole company needs to reach the same convention. DeVos Place Convention Center (303 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) runs a full calendar of regional and national conferences, and parking fills up well before most attendees pull in. One charter bus clears that problem: M-6 to US-131 north gets your group downtown in about 20 minutes on a clear run, and the bus drops your team at the Monroe Avenue entrance so nobody's hauling presentation gear across a parking structure.
For recurring employee shuttles between Kentwood offices and downtown Grand Rapids, or for executive transfers where a Sprinter limo makes more sense than a full coach, call 517-481-6450 to put together a contract or multi-day package. Compare Kentwood corporate shuttle options and get a quote in under 30 seconds.

Kentwood Private Event Transportation Services
Family reunions, church outings, graduation parties, milestone anniversaries — whenever a large group needs to move together in Kentwood and the surrounding Kent County area, a private bus keeps everyone on the same schedule instead of scattered across three separate departure times. Kentwood private event transportation covers everything from a minibus for 20 to a full charter bus for 56.
One situation that comes up often: groups attending seasonal events at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park (1000 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525), especially during the summer concert series or winter holiday light shows when the East Beltline corridor backs up for blocks and the on-site parking structure fills well before showtime. A charter bus drops your group at the entrance and stages off-site until you're ready — no circling the lot, no half your group separated across five cars trying to find each other in the dark. Call 517-481-6450 to compare pricing and availability on your date.

Kentwood Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season runs April through May across Kent County, and East Kentwood High School and Kentwood High School both fall inside that same six-week window when every party bus in West Michigan is spoken for. Demand spikes hard during prom season — buses that run $175–$280/hour in November can push to $320–$450/hour by April, assuming availability is still there at all. Book by December if you're planning a prom rental.
The longer you wait past that point, the worse the pricing and the thinner the options.
A typical 6-hour prom package — school pickup, pre-prom photo stop at a park or venue, drop-off at the event, and late-night return — is the standard itinerary for Kent County groups. The 20–30 passenger party bus range hits the sweet spot for most high school groups. Compare Kentwood prom party bus options through the online tool, or call 517-481-6450 to get started before the season books solid.

Kentwood School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and chaperones in the Kentwood Public Schools district have an easy run to some of West Michigan's most popular field trip destinations — but coordinating parent carpools across four or five pickup windows is often harder than planning the curriculum itself. A single bus handles the whole class, covers the return, and gives you control of arrival and departure times instead of waiting for the last parent to show up.
Popular Kentwood-area field trip destinations include John Ball Zoo (1300 W Fulton St, Grand Rapids, MI 49504), Grand Rapids Children's Museum (11 Sheldon Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503), and Frederik Meijer Gardens (1000 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids). Charter buses with overhead storage, onboard restrooms, and TV screens with DVD players keep students comfortable and occupied on longer runs. ADA-accessible vehicles are available — mention the need when you request your quote.
Call 517-481-6450 to get your Kentwood school field trip bus lined up.

Kentwood Sporting Event Transportation
Van Andel Arena (130 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids) hosts the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings) through a long October–June hockey season and the Grand Rapids Gold (NBA G League) through the winter months, on top of a packed concert and events calendar. Parking in downtown Grand Rapids on game nights means competing with restaurant and bar traffic on top of arena traffic — the Monroe Street lots fill before puck drop, and the post-game exit from downtown is slow no matter which direction you leave.
A Kentwood sports shuttle takes the group up US-131 north together, drops everyone near the Fulton Street entrance, and handles the return once the final buzzer sounds. For LMCU Ballpark (4500 West River Dr NE, Comstock Park, MI 49321), home of the West Michigan Whitecaps (High-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), general parking is free but the West River Drive exit gets backed up after full-house summer nights and fireworks games. One bus beats that exit crawl.
And for Kentwood fans making the roughly 60-mile trip to East Lansing for a Michigan State football Saturday, the Spartan Stadium charter bus guide has everything you need to know about game-day logistics at MSU. Call 517-481-6450 to get your group to the game.

Kentwood Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
The 28th Street hotel corridor in Kentwood is where most wedding guest blocks end up, which makes it the logical starting point for a shuttle loop to ceremony and reception venues across the Kent County area. Instead of asking guests to navigate East Beltline turns or find parking at venues in Cascade Township that were never designed for a 150-person guest list, a Kentwood wedding shuttle runs a clean loop from the hotel block to the venue entrance and back again at the end of the night.
For the wedding party itself, a 14-passenger Sprinter limo gives the bridal group its own comfortable vehicle for the getting-ready pickup, ceremony arrival, and photo stops — without asking family members to fill their cars with bridesmaids in formal attire. Because the quote process locks in pickup windows and timing up front, the wedding timeline stays tight from the first run to the last return. Planning the bachelorette weekend too?
A bachelorette party bus keeps the whole pre-wedding celebration on one coordinated itinerary. Call 517-481-6450 to get your date held.

Kentwood Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
Grand Rapids earned the "Beer City USA" nickname for a reason — there are more than 40 craft breweries within a short drive of Kentwood, and a crawl that tries to hit even half of them without a bus is going to end early or end badly. A Kentwood brewery tour bus keeps the whole group together between stops while someone else handles the route. Start at Founders Brewing Co. (235 Grandville Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503), roll over to Brewery Vivant (925 Cherry St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506), and the bus stages nearby between stops so nobody's walking four blocks back to a car they parked at the wrong spot.
For groups wanting to head southwest toward Michigan wine country — the Saugatuck and Fennville area along the Lake Michigan shore — a charter bus handles the roughly 50-minute run and brings everyone back at the same time. No designated driver from your own group needed. Call 517-481-6450 to build your itinerary and get a quote.

What is the difference between a party bus and a charter bus?
Party buses are built for celebrations — wraparound inward-facing seating, a full-length bar, LED lighting, and sound systems that make the ride itself the event. Charter buses are set up for transportation — forward-facing reclining seats, overhead storage, undercarriage luggage bays, WiFi, power outlets, and onboard restrooms on most full-size models. Party buses are the right call for a night out or a celebration; charter buses are the better fit for a long haul, airport transfer, or corporate shuttle where practicality and comfort matter more than the onboard atmosphere.
Can I request a one-way trip to the airport?
Yes. One-way trips, round-trips, and multi-stop itineraries are all options when you request a quote. If your group is flying out of Gerald R. Ford International Airport and only needs a transfer from a Kentwood hotel to the departures curb — with no return leg — that's a straightforward one-way request.
Let the operator know your exact itinerary when you request your quote and pricing will reflect it accurately.
Are ADA-accessible buses available for Kentwood trips?
ADA-accessible vehicles are available. If your group includes passengers who need a wheelchair lift or wider aisle clearance, mention it when you submit your quote request or call 517-481-6450. The earlier you flag this, the more options that can be confirmed for your specific date — ADA vehicles book quickly during prom season and other high-demand periods.
Popular Kentwood Party Bus Destinations
Kentwood sits right at the edge of Gerald R. Ford International Airport and within easy reach of the full lineup of Grand Rapids entertainment venues. Here are the destinations Kentwood groups head to most often — with the logistics you need to know before you go.

Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR)
GRR sits at 5500 44th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512 — inside Kentwood's own city limits, which puts your group closer to the terminal than most West Michigan travelers realize. The airport serves as the region's primary commercial hub with nonstop service to major connecting cities, and it handled more than 4 million passengers in 2024 as demand continues to climb. Short-term parking in the main ramp adds up quickly for multi-day trips, and long-term surface lots require a shuttle transfer that adds time on both ends.
One bus transfer from a Kentwood hotel keeps the cost predictable and cuts out the lot-to-terminal leg entirely. Commercial pickup is on the lower level (Arrivals) curbside — have your whole group with luggage assembled before reaching out to pull the bus forward. Review current pickup details on the official GRR website before you travel.

Van Andel Arena
Van Andel Arena (130 Fulton St W, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) seats about 12,000 and runs one of the busiest event calendars in West Michigan — home ice for the Grand Rapids Griffins (AHL affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings), home court for the Grand Rapids Gold (NBA G League), and a year-round anchor for touring concerts from major artists. The Monroe Avenue parking situation downtown is workable when nothing's going on and genuinely painful when a sellout crowd is moving through — lots fill early, and the post-event exit from downtown Grand Rapids can extend the night by 45 minutes whether you planned for it or not. A bus drops your Kentwood group on Fulton Street near the entrance before the event and is waiting at an agreed staging point after the final buzzer, skipping the entire parking calculation.
Check the current event schedule at the official Van Andel Arena website.

Woodland Mall
Woodland Mall (3195 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512) is Kentwood's anchor retail and events destination, anchoring the 28th Street SE commercial corridor that runs through the heart of the city. The mall regularly hosts seasonal pop-ups, holiday activations, and special events that draw large crowds — and the surface lots along 28th Street, while expansive, reach their limit on busy holiday shopping weekends and major event days when the surrounding restaurant strip from East Beltline Ave to Kalamazoo Ave adds to the vehicle volume on an already-heavy road. Groups heading here for shopping outings, holiday gatherings, or any ticketed event benefit from a single drop-off at the main entrance rather than splitting the group across the parking field.
Call 517-481-6450 to arrange group transportation to Woodland Mall and the 28th Street corridor on your date.
Address: 3195 28th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512

DeVos Place Convention Center
DeVos Place (303 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) is West Michigan's largest convention facility, connected directly to the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel and running a calendar that spans regional trade shows, national industry conferences, public expos, and sporting events year-round. Parking in the Monroe Avenue North area fills quickly during major shows, and groups shuttling in from Kentwood on event days face whatever M-6 and US-131 are dealing with that morning plus downtown parking on top of it. A charter bus handles the full run in one vehicle, drops your team at the Monroe Avenue entrance, and can hold a nearby staging position between runs for multi-shuttle operations.
For large conventions where repeated shuttles are needed across a multi-day event, call 517-481-6450 to put together a contract-length package. Check the full event calendar at the official DeVos Place website.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park
Frederik Meijer Gardens (1000 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) draws visitors year-round to its indoor tropical conservatory, outdoor sculpture park featuring works by internationally recognized artists, and a summer concert series that sells out well in advance. The East Beltline corridor between M-6 and I-96 backs up significantly on concert nights — the venue's main entrance approach sees heavy volume from multiple directions, and the on-site parking structure fills for peak events before many attendees even arrive. A charter bus drops your group at the main entrance on E Beltline Ave and stages off-site, so the return is handled with a call instead of a parking structure exit crawl.
Seasonal light shows and special exhibitions also draw large crowds in the fall and winter months. Review current event listings and ticketing at the official Meijer Gardens website.

LMCU Ballpark
LMCU Ballpark (4500 West River Dr NE, Comstock Park, MI 49321) is home to the West Michigan Whitecaps, the High-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, and runs a full schedule of roughly 66 home games from April through September. The park holds close to 9,800 and regularly draws sellout crowds for fireworks nights, bobblehead giveaways, and summer theme promotions — making it one of the most popular minor league destinations in Michigan. General parking is free, which sounds like an advantage right up until 9,800 people are all exiting West River Drive at the same time after a late-inning walk-off.
A bus keeps your Kentwood group together from pickup through the post-game exit without anyone stuck in the lot crawl or waiting on a rideshare that can't find the right exit. Company outings and group ticket nights are a natural fit for a charter or minibus. Check the current schedule on the official Whitecaps MiLB page.
